UniSC Birders

The UniSC Birders a group of bird watchers and animal lovers based at UniSC Moreton Bay in Petrie. We meet regularly and walk around campus taking note of the bird species we observe. Our goal is to raise awareness and promote the protection of the many birds that call UniSC home.

The UniSC Desi Club is a vibrant, fun, and welcoming community of students at UniSC Sippy Downs who share a love for Desi culture. Whether you’re born Desi or simply Desi at heart, our club is all about creating a space where everyone feels included, connected, and celebrated. We celebrate culture, create connections, and make university life a little more colourful!
From cultural events and festivals to social gatherings, games, and unforgettable memories, we aim to bring students together and build meaningful friendships. For many students studying away from family, Desi Club strives to be a “home away from home”, a place filled with community, laughter, support, and a sense of belonging.

Enactus is a global student organisation which brings together business leaders and students whose purpose is: “To Enable Progress through Entrepreneurial Action” Enactus USC is the affiliation of Enactus at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where students, staff and local community/corporate members can come together and work together to create a more sustainable world. Our project-based approach focuses on the SDGs, providing students the opportunity to create a more sustainable world while expanding their interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills.

UniSC Netball Club

UniSC is an inclusive netball club with players, coaches and officials of all different skills and abilities. We host events throughout the year, including the QLD Cup in April, Social Fast 5 in both Semester 1 and Semester 2, the Griffith Bowl in the middle of the year, and Nationals at the end of September, as well as various social and fundraising events.
UniSCPA- Pasifika Association

The UniSC Pasifika Association (UniSCPA) welcomes all UniSC students who identify as Pasifika and also students who do not identify as Pasifika but have an interest in Pacific Island culture, studies and/or research. UniSCPA is a new initiative being developed by Pasifika Island students for Pasifika students and is supported by the Australian Centre for Pacific Island Research (ACPIR) and the Moreton Bay Student Liaison Group (MB SLG). UniSCPA is focused on supporting Pasifika students during their university studies to empower themselves and their communities and aims to create a safe, diverse, inclusive community of like-minded Pasifika students and mentors. Being a member of UniSCPA will be a fantastic way to network, make new friends, create new opportunities, develop leadership skills, and enrich your university experience.

Sustainability Collective

The UniSC Sustainability Collective envisions a campus where students, staff, and alumni are empowered with the knowledge and skills to lead sustainable lives and contribute to a more sustainable future.
The group exists to educate, connect, and inspire students, staff, and alumni to take collective action toward sustainability. Its activities focus on fostering a community passionate about environmental and social sustainability, hosting events, workshops, and initiatives that promote sustainable living. Through education and engagement, the group aims to create a supportive space for collaboration, making a positive impact both on campus and beyond. The Collective also collaborates with established community groups, such as the Upskilling Sustainability Initiative, to engage the UniSC community in meaningful and sustainable collective action.

UniSC Touch Football

The UniSC Touch Football Club is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to growing a fun, inclusive, and competitive touch football community at the University of the Sunshine Coast. We welcome players of all skill levels and offer opportunities to play socially, compete in intervarsity and elite tournaments, and develop through training and events. Whether you’re a beginner, a competitive player, or just a fan of the sport, the UniSC Touch Football Club is your home for touch football at UniSC.
UniSC Volleyball Club

We are an expanding volleyball club based on the Sunshine Coast, affiliated with the University of the Sunshine Coast and Volleyball Queensland. Our club was first founded by Quinn Edwards and Scott Paulsen in 2020 as a small social club with a sunday night competition of 6 teams. Our regular social competition has since nearly tripled in size.
Our main activities include our indoor volleyball competitions varying between mixed and competitive Men’s/Women’s teams. We now have representative teams who compete Premier Volleyball League in addition to Uni-Nationals.
The key aims of our club are to continue offering the most enjoyable and competitive level of volleyball on the Sunshine Coast, facilitate skill-development, and expanding our community of volleyball players. In doing this, we are continuously working on ways to enhance player experience and remain affordable for our community.
Queer Collective

The Queer Collective is a club/society at the UniSC Fraser Coast campus aimed at fostering a diverse and inclusive university community. QC aims to advocate for the wellbeing and common concerns of Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Ace and other identifying members of the LGBTQIA+ community through events and initiatives.
