Use this form to apply for a Start Up Grant for your club or society.
The maximum amount approved for Start Up Grant is $1500.
Start Up Grants are designed to help your new club get off the ground.
Clubs may apply for a Start Up Grant when affiliating, or at any point within 12 months of affiliating.
The Student Guild Commitee of Management will consider each application at its next meeting and advise of the outcome within 60 days.
Grants will be considered on a rolling basis.

The club must be affiliated with UniSC Student Guild
Clubs can apply for a Start Up Grant at any time in the first 12 months following affiliation, including when submitting affiliation documents
Club events and activities must have a Risk Assessment approved through the proper channels
Successful Start Up Grants must be acquitted within 365 days, with all receipts submitted to the Student Guild
Applicants should immediately disclose any affiliation, relationship or collaboration with any other student club, faculty, political party, external organisation or group

Any activity that is intended to promote, or is in itself, an illegal or criminal activity
Activities that do not further the objectives of the Club as outlined in their Constitution
Items that breach the club’s constitution or the UniSC Code of Conduct or Student Charter
Funding of alcohol
Any activity that is deemed unsafe or a risk, or encourages unsafe or risk-taking behaviour by its participants

Please upload Bank Statement additional receipts and any other relevant documentation. If your club doesn’t have a bank account yet, please leave blank. We will pay your Start Up Grant when you open and confirm a club bank account.

All details listed in this Start Up Grant Application are true and correct at the time of submission.

I understand that the completion of this form does not guarantee approval of the Start Up Grant.
I understand that then endorsement of the Start Up Grant does not guarantee approval for any activities or events listed within, and that final approval can only be granted after a Risk Assessment is approved.
